Client Testimonial:

“I have what used to be an unsightly, “dangling” skin tag on my neck but since using the Syrinx Za soap for the last few weeks it has now disappeared almost completely and is no longer an embarrassment to me.
I started to use the Syrinx ZA soap for my allergy towards dogs and cats, and from the go I used the soap as a one-stop in the shower product for all-over cleansing, washing my hair and even shaving with the lather because my dry skin was costing me a fortune in separate big-brand products for different dry and allergic skin problems.
It never crossed my mind that the soap was having an effect on my skin tag until my wife mentioned it seemed to have disappeared.”

Skin tags| Q & A | Skin tags Treatment and Care

Image of Skin Tags on the NeckWhat are skin tags?
Skin tags are small growths of skin, usually the same colour as the surrounding skin. Who gets skin tags? Skin tags tend to affect pregnant women and overweight people in middle-age.

What causes skin tags? Skin tags seem to appear in areas of the body where there is friction, perhaps in the groin area due to wearing too-tight jeans or under the breasts thanks to a scratchy underwired bra.

Are skin tags dangerous?

If you have skin tags, you might find them unsightly and embarrassing or they may catch on your clothing and cause irritation. However, most skin tags are completely harmless, but if you get a skin tag that bleeds or is a different colour, you should consult your GP.

Can skin tags be cured or treated?

Some small skin tags go black and drop off of their own accord. Other skin tags have their own blood supply and nerve endings, and once they’ve appeared, seem set to stay forever.

The NHS used to remove skin tags at no charge, but now it is considered a cosmetic procedure and you will have to pay to get them removed. This is done by snipping them off, usually under a local anaesthetic, and of course you end up with a scar where the skin tag grew.

Other treatments you may hear of include medicines, steroids and even knotting dental floss around the skin tag to stop the blood flow. (We do not recommend this).

However, there is an alternative that doesn’t include minor surgery or drugs.

What is the best cure for skin tags?

Our natural treatment for skin tags has the effect of healing and strengthening the skin, so skin tags reduce in size and eventually disappear altogether.

  1. Use our deep cleansing therapy bar every morning and night. Add warm water and scrub it gently into the skin tag and surrounding area. Do not wash off the lather; just let it soak in for at least 30 minutes or overnight if possible.
  2. Apply our hydrating therapy balm at intervals throughout the day

Customers tell us they start to see results on their skin tags within the first month. Skin Tag Removal Cream

Skin tags are small growths of skin that can occur for no particular reason, affecting all different types of people. However, pregnant women and middle-aged people, particularly those who are overweight, are more likely to suffer from skin tags.

Most skin tags are completely harmless and blend in with the colour of the skin, but no matter whether they’re harmless or not, they’re still an irritation and you may choose to treat them, in order to ensure they don’t reappear.

How to Tell if a Skin Tag is Harmless

Most skin tags are harmless, but it’s important to know what type of skin growth you have before you look for a natural skin tag treatment. Otherwise, you could in fact be seeking the wrong type of treatment for the skin problem you have.

Generally, the skin tags that are harmless are a different colour to the skin and are prone to bleeding. The colour and look of your skin tag will give you a good indication as to how serious your skin problem is, therefore helping you to be sure of exactly what product you should be using.
