Oily Skin

Oily skin is caused by an over-active sebaceous gland which produces a natural skin lubricant called sebum. When the skin produces too much sebum, it becomes oily in texture. Oily-skin types are not necessarily bad, since such skin is less prone to aging, because the oil helps to keep locked into the skin.
