How to Cure Eczema? There is no cure for Eczema but read on

Whilst science has not yet discovered How to Cure Eczema, relief is at hand in the form of what we believe to be the best cream for eczema. In conjunction with the Deep Cleansing Therapy Bar Eczema Sufferers can use the Syrinx Za Natural Emollient Cream for Eczema to reduce inflammation, redness and itching and be confident that the product is both effective and FREE of steroids.

Steroid FREE Relief for Eczema Sufferers

Introduced in the 1950’s Topical Steroids or corticosteroids also known as “cortisone” seemed to revolutionise skin care because they were easy to apply, fast acting, anti-inflammatory preparations useful reducing inflammation in conditions such as Eczema and so were used in creams for eczema sufferers.

Science has discovered that steroids are not particularly conducive to good health and as such the use of steroids in medicine is strictly controlled by health authorities. People prefer to avoid using non-natural products in their skin care regimes and they prefer to avoid the use of Steroids in any form if possible.

Corticosteroid creams, as the name would suggest include steroids and in our view the long term use of steroids is not a good thing and we offer people a completely natural alternative to corticosteroid creams in the form of our natural organic cream for eczema.

Science will find the answer one day

In the future science will discover How to Cure Eczema but until then we strive to provide what we believe to be the best cream for eczema. Please take a little time to read our many testimonials from happy customers whom have benefitted from our Steroid and chemical free natural skin care products.

Children with Psoriasis

Children With PsoriasisChildren can be cruel. Playground questioning: “Eww, what’s the matter with your skin?” Overheard gossip: “Have you seen those red scaly patches on her elbows?” Out-and-out rudeness: “Yuk, your skin is horrible.”

It’s bad enough for children with psoriasis that their skin is unsightly, itchy and uncomfortable. But, perhaps worse, the condition can impact their self-confidence and relationships, with a knock-on effect on performance at school and in their social life.

20% OFF cream for psoriasis when you quote GB2012 at checkout – Offer ends 31 August 2012

What causes psoriasis

Psoriasis is when new cells mature and travel to the skin surface too quickly, then fail to shed and build up as lesions. A flare-up can sometimes be the result of stress or follow a streptococcal throat infection. The condition often seems to calm down during the holidays, perhaps thanks to relaxing in the sun by the sea. Sadly, there’s no cure.

Note that psoriasis is nothing to do with poor hygiene and it’s not catching!

Psoriasis facts and figures

  • 2–3% of the UK population have psoriasis including 1.4% of 10- to 19-year-olds
  • About one-third of psoriasis-sufferers are aged under 20 when the condition starts
  • If one parent has psoriasis, there’s a 10% risk the child will inherit it. If both parents have psoriasis, the risk increases to 50%

Six tips to help children with psoriasis

Reassure their teachers and classmates that the condition is not contagious. Boost their confidence. Tell them you love them. Encourage them to live as normal life as possible e.g. swimming is OK. Buy them loose-fitting cotton clothing. Discourage scratching!

In children with psoriasis, the skin might be shiny and red. It might also become flakey. Either way, the best treatment is to sooth and hydrate the skin.

“Moisturisers and emollients are vital in the treatment of psoriasis.”
Psoriasis Association

Highlights of the Syrinx Za treatment for psoriasis

  • 100% natural cream for psoriasis
  • Keeps psoriasis under control
  • Keeps irritation at bay
  • Improves the skin’s appearance
  • Results within just two weeks

Children and young people can also support each other. Take this advice from psoriasis-sufferer

“Don’t let your skin rule your life, go out there and try and enjoy it as much as possible.”

Watch out Skin, autumn is just around the corner.

Autumn Skin CareIf your skin is anything like mine, you’ll come out in a rash just thinking about the cold winter months, but before we get there we have to endure the slow demise of the warm summer sun, dead leaves from the trees in our gardens and lanes and digging out our sweaters and coats. Yuk

I’m a summer lover; I worship the sun (metaphorically speaking), but I do love autumnal colours and crisp autumn morning walks. Then as the day draws on I wish the sun back again. Enough of my ramblings and on with the subject of my post

Autumn Skin Care Advice

Whilst we can pull on our sweaters and winter coats to protect our bodies our face is left open to the vagaries of autumn and then winter weather. Using a heavy natural moisturiser on the face and a lighter more rapidly absorbing moisturiser on our bodies will help us avoid looking like that old oak in the park by next summer!

It’s no secret that as we get older we need a little help from science and mother nature and Syrinx Za have the perfect autumn and winter skin-care collection to help hold back the sands of time..

Autumn Skincare and Moisturising Regime

All our products are 100% natural; no need to worry about chemicals getting mixed in your autumn skincare regime.

Daily Cleansing
Our Deep Cleansing Therapy Bar is a very clever bar of soap, it contains a high concentration of Sapropel which helps to deeply cleanse, remove toxins from the skin and exfoliate leather-like or delicate skin equally well.

Using our skin therapy soap as part of your daily skin care regime will deliver pleasantly surprising skin softening.

Here’s what a recent new client said.
Never had such good results! – Just to let you know that I received my soap and have already noticed a difference. I have used so many different products, but never had such good results.
Many thanks – Sheila Croton

Face Moisturising
Our Moisturising Therapy Balm is the perfect defence against harsh winter weather, it’s a thick creamy balm that absorbs and moisturises deeply. Apply following your morning shower for all day defence against the elements.

Body moisturising
Under the layers of clothing we’re more protected so a lighter, faster absorbing skin moisturising cream is more suitable, we recommend our Ultra-Sensitive Therapy cream for a luxurious long lasting body moisturiser.

Natural skin care products for Sensitive Skin, containing Zander

Syrinx Za Natural Skin CareAccording to one source we read, the average person applies ten different skincare products every day. That means up to 130 chemicals are being absorbed into their skin!

Although you’d hope the ingredients have all been approved for use in skin care and cosmetic products, no-one really knows what side-effects they might have, especially for people with sensitive skin.

Un-natural skincare: ingredients to avoid

If you are looking for skincare products for sensitive skin (or you are simply concerned for your skin and the environment) these are just a few of the commonly used chemicals you might prefer to avoid. You won’t find a trace of them in any of our products, we promise!

  • Parabens
  • Sulphates
  • Petroleum
  • Lanolin
  • Synthetic colours and fragrances

So, if you don’t want to apply any of those ingredients to your skin, what are the alternatives? Let’s look back to the time when humans had no other choice but to use natural skin care products…

History of natural skin care

According to Wikipedia, there are records of Ancient Egyptians using natural products to treat a variety of skin conditions. Meanwhile, it’s been traditional here in the UK and around the world to apply a ‘mud pack’ to improve the appearance of your skin.

Mud, mud, glorious mud!
Not just any old mud will do. Our skin cream contains a rare sediment known as Zander which is 6,000 years old and found only in certain parts of North East Europe.

Glacial water and a cool climate means the reeds at the lakeside decompose slowly to form a mud that stores a range of lipids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids that heal, nourish and rejuvenate skin cells.

We mix the Zander with natural oils to draw out toxins, metals and impurities from the skin with no need for parabens or other nasties. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard of Zander before; it’s the basis of all our natural skin care products and has undergone extensive trials.

Important notes about “natural skin care”

There’s no legal definition of the word ‘natural’, although there is a common understanding that it refers to ingredients that are sourced rather than manufactured.

No ingredients – whether natural or chemical – can be guaranteed NOT to cause an allergic reaction. Although adverse reactions are extremely rare, our skin cream does contain traces of nut oils. If this affects you, please stop using the cream immediately and contact our customer care team.

Ladies: Here is the secret to super soft feet and heels

Natural Moisturising Treatment for Cracked Feet and HeelsDear Syrinx Za,
I have terribly cracked heels and I’m embarrassed to show them in sandals. I’d love to have super soft feet and heels. How do I get soft feet?

Dear Cracked Feet (and other sufferers),

It’s still summer here in the UK (just about) and we’re still wearing sandals (when it’s not raining)! Mind you, it doesn’t matter what time of year it is, you want to have super soft feet all year round, not unsightly hard and cracked heels that can worsen to cause bleeding and infection.

If you’re asking yourself “How do I get soft feet?”, here’s the secret!

How to get soft feet in three easy steps

  1. Every night, use our Deep Cleansing Therapy Bar to make a thick lather, rub it in and leave it to dry for at least 30 minutes (ideally overnight)
  2. Massage your feet with our intensive Hydrating Therapy Balm every night and morning (and throughout the day, as frequently as you wish). It smoothes and hydrates hard skin to heal cracks and make your feet pretty again.
  3. Add an optional touch of Ultra-Sensitive Therapy Cream alongside the balm for best results

Follow this simple ‘how to get soft feet’ programme and you’ll notice a difference in a few days. When tested, 9/10 of our volunteers experienced a visible improvement in just two weeks.

We hope that answers the question of “How do I get soft feet!

What’s in it?
Our ‘how to get soft feet’ treatment régime is 100% natural. For example, as well as Zander, our Hydrating Therapy Balm contains Shea Butter, Kalahari Melon Seed Oil and Tea Tree Oil – a combination that has hydrating and anti-septic properties to repair damaged skin cells.

Note there are no harsh chemicals, alcohol, steroids, parabens or petroleum in any of our products. None!

What our customers say

“For most of my life, I have suffered with severe cracked heels.
I have been using the therapy balm for the past few months and my heels are AMAZING! It has completely softened my feet and new skin seems to have grown. Nothing I have ever used has done this.” Rachel Carter

Poor feet. You squeeze them into unsuitable footwear and then walk about on them all day! Isn’t time to treat them to some safe and healthy pampering?

P.S. It’s not just for ladies – our Hydrating Therapy Balm works just as well for men’s feet too!

Put your best foot forward and find out more about the secret to super soft feet and heels

Best Acne Treatment Containing only Pure Natural Ingredients

Best Acne Treatment“Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest of them all?”
It’s all very well in fairy-tales, but what do you see when you look in the mirror? Oh no. Not another spot. As if it’s not bad enough being a teenager, you have the nightmare of acne to contend with! What’s more, for some of us, acne never really goes away. Some people experience adult acne well into their fifties and beyond. Acne spots are unsightly and embarrassing whatever your age, and you’ll want to find out what is the best acne treatment.

What is the best acne treatment?

Here are our three main criteria for a natural treatment for acne:

  • Purifying – Removes toxins
  • Moisturising – Natural ingredients that soothe and hydrate the skin
  • Gentle – Non-irritant and suitable for all skin types

As you’re reading this on a skincare website, you won’t be surprised to learn that we offer a handmade soap to treat acne. It uses nothing but natural ingredients in a cold process that retains all the moisture-rich glycerine that other soaps lack.

What makes our soap the best treatment for acne?

Because we don’t let a sniff of unnatural ingredients sneak in to any of our natural products. That means no parabens (that’s the preservative commonly used in cosmetics and skincare but that’s linked with skin cancer), no steroids and no chemicals. What’s more, we don’t test any of our products on animals, as we don’t believe that’s the right thing to do.

If you’re looking for a natural treatment for acne, you probably think the same way we do.

OK, so what’s in our acne treatment?

We’re not giving away the whole recipe, but we can tell you that our soap contains Zander, a rare 6000-year-old mud that’s rich in therapeutic minerals. This particular sediment is only found in a handful of lakes in North Eastern Europe. Local farm-workers have used it for centuries to relieve wounds and sores and as a natural skincare treatment.

The vitamins and minerals in Zander are known to boost the body’s own immune system.

Our soap also contains a mixture of oils including olive, castor and coconut, as well as turmeric and beeswax. This combination produces a rich, aromatic lather that locks in moisture and has healing antiseptic qualities.

When you are suffering from acne, the mirror is not your friend. But once your skin is clear thanks to our natural acne treatment, you’ll be able to admire your reflection happily ever after!

How you can Put an End to Dry Skin on the Face. Naturally.

Dry Skin on the FaceDo you remember the hosepipe ban in many parts of England earlier this year, because local authorities were worried that the reservoirs would run dry? That was followed by one of the wettest summers on record!

And what happened to your garden during the drought? The soil dried and cracked, of course. And what happened when it started raining? Everything started growing again!

Like a garden, the skin on the face becomes dry if it doesn’t contain enough moisture.

What causes dry skin on the face?

Dry skin on the face can be caused by ageing, sunshine, wind, central heating, air conditioning, and certain soaps.

Dry skin lacks oil; dehydrated skin lacks moisture. Both conditions result in inflammation, itching and irritation, together with a feeling that the skin on your face is tight, uncomfortable or even painful.

With that in mind, you’ll definitely want to know how to get rid of dry skin on the face!

How to get rid of dry skin on the face

  • Wash your face with warm water; not hot
  • Use mild, pH-neutral soap
  • Gently dab your face dry with a clean towel; don’t rub
  • Apply a natural moisturising cream
  • Turn down the thermostat on your central heating
  • Open the windows for a few hours each day
  • Limit your exposure to the sun, especially at peak times
  • Drink lots of water
  • Eat oily fish at least twice a week (or take fish oil supplements)

Looking for a cream for dry skin on the face?

There’s no need to use a prescribed steroid cream or lotion with the associated side-effects. And there’s no need to buy expensive designer brands with complicated application programmes.

The Syrinx Za moisturising therapy balm is an affordable cream for dry skin on the face.

It’s 100% natural, with no petroleum, parabens or chemicals; and no artificial colours or alcohol (so there’s absolutely no risk of you having an adverse reaction).

The active ingredient is Zander – a rare lake sediment that draws out impurities and provides vitamins to promote cell regeneration and boost skin immunity. The cream also contains Shea butter and Kalahari Melon Seed oil for their hydrating qualities, as well as Tea Tree oil – a natural antiseptic and disinfectant.

Our gentle moisturising therapy balm suits dry skin, itchy skin, red skin and scaly skin, on the face and elsewhere on the body. Simply use it to lock in moisture after every bath or shower you take.

You’ll find the cream quickly hydrates the skin, and achieves noticeable results within just two weeks.

Just like a garden, if the skin on your face is dry, it needs moisturising! And when you apply our moisturising balm regularly, your skin cells will grow back smooth and healthy.

Are you Seeking an Alternative Treatment for Psoriasis?

Alternative Psoriasis TreatmentUntil science finds a cure for psoriasis we can offer an alternative treatment.
As you may know, the most famous fictional character with severe psoriasis is The Singing Detective in the 1986 BCC drama series starring Michael Gambon that was most recently repeated in February 2012.

The story was written by Dennis Potter, himself a psoriasis sufferer who had to write with a pen tied to his fist. In 2003, the drama was remade as a film starring Robert Downey Jr.

Most people with psoriasis will never suffer as severely as the plot’s main character, Dan Dark. But whether you experience constant cracked bleeding skin all over, or just occasional red patches on your elbows and knees, you’ll want to find an alternative treatment that works for psoriasis.

Typical symptoms of psoriasis

If you’ve ever had psoriasis, you’ll be aware that the main symptoms are dry rough skin with red patches, itchiness and soreness. But it’s not just the skin discomfort that’s the problem; it’s also how the appearance of your skin can affect your confidence. Many psoriasis sufferers are reluctant to face the world, especially these days, when so many of us are seemingly judged on our looks.

Why look for an alternative treatment for psoriasis

As you may know, there’s no long-term cure for psoriasis, and chemicals and additives often inflame sensitive psoriasis skin. However, you can control the symptoms of psoriasis when you choose a treatment that’s 100% natural and clinically proven to be non-irritant.

Suggested psoriasis alternative treatment régime

Everyone’s skin is different, but many of our customers tell us this process results in 24-hour skin hydration that works for them:

  • Use our Deep Cleansing Therapy Bar every morning and night (don’t rinse it off at night; just let the lather dry naturally)
  • Apply our Ultra Sensitive Therapy Cream after bathing or showering, and at intervals during the day
Results of our psoriasis alternative treatment…

Our alternative treatment for psoriasis can sooth and reduce the symptoms of psoriasis in just two weeks, so you enjoy smoother and softer skin with improved appearance.

What our clients say about our psoriasis alternative treatment…

“I have had psoriasis for over 50 years. After a few days using the soap it stopped the irritation.”

“Your Deep Cleansing Therapy Bar reduced the soreness and itching in just a few days, I started using your Ultra-Sensitive Therapy Cream as a secondary treatment, and I can say the symptoms are becoming less of a problem.”

You may not be a detective, but you’ll sing with joy now that you’ve found the alternative psoriasis treatment you’re looking for! Find out more about our Alternative Treatment for Psoriasis

Natural Treatment for Human Skin Allergy to Dogs

Skin Allergy to DogsDo you have a Skin Allergy to Dogs?
I knew if I touched or petted a Dog I would suffer an allergic reaction later, so I would avoid touching dogs and other greasy skinned animals to the extent that I would avoid visiting family and friends who owned dogs and household pets.

On those occasions where contact with dogs was unavoidable I would feel an urge to wash my hands and face and would do so at the earliest opportunity, but it never stopped the symptoms of my dog allergy coming on strong later on.

Symptoms of Dog Allergy

Below are the Symptoms of Dog Allergy I suffered before I learned how to cope with it. Within hours of petting a dog the thin area of skin on my face below my eyes and above my cheeks at either side of my nose would become red and inflamed and itch like hell. I really felt like I wanted to scratch my skin and did on most occasions.

I also felt an overwhelming urge to wash my hands and face whenever I came into contact with any greasy skinned animal. The symptoms of my dog allergy possibly don’t sound too severe to a person who has never suffered a skin allergy, but I can assure you it was very nasty for me.

I was born in a village in the UK County of Cleveland and we always had a dog as a family pet. It also seemed like everyone else in the village did too, so I was never more than a few steps away from a dog and for sure not a single day would go by without wrestling and play-fighting with Patch and later Blackie our family pets.

As a child, I never suffered any Symptoms of a Dog Allergy. It was only later, in my thirties, having lived without dogs for ten or more years that I developed my Skin Allergy to Dogs.

How I Successfully Treat my Skin Allergy to Dogs

I work in marketing and to cut a long story short I became involved with Syrinx Za which is the skin care brand which offered me the treatment to my Skin Allergy to Dogs.

Skin Allergy to Dogs Skin Care Regime:
I have replaced my high-street brand of shower gel with the Syrinx Za Deep Cleansing Therapy Bar and following my morning shower I apply the Ultra-Sensitive Skin Therapy Cream to the problem area of skin on my face. That’s it !!

Following the above daily skin care regime has cured my Skin Allergy to Dogs and I can now pet animals and again visit family and friends who own family pets.

If you suffer from a Skin Allergy to Dogs or any other animal – or even any general skin allergy I would recommend you buy and try the following products: Deep Cleansing Therapy Bar | Ultra-Sensitive Skin Therapy Cream
